The National Basketball Association (NBA) has officially announced that the 2027 NBA All Star-Game will be hosted at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona. This decision underscores Phoenix’s selection as the esteemed host city for the NBA All-Star 2027 event.

The 76th NBA All-Star Game is scheduled to take place at the Footprint Center, the renowned home of the Phoenix Suns, on Sunday, February 21, 2027. This marks Phoenix’s fourth occasion hosting the prestigious NBA All-Star event, following previous hosting duties in 1975, 1995, and 2009.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver made the announcement during a press conference held at Footprint Center, accompanied by Suns Chairman Mat Ishbia, Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, and a recorded message from Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego.

Silver expressed excitement about showcasing Phoenix’s love for basketball during the NBA All-Star festivities in 2027, highlighting the city’s passion for the sport. Mat Ishbia emphasized Phoenix’s status as the ultimate basketball destination and promised an unforgettable NBA All-Star Weekend.

Governor Hobbs reiterated the sentiment, expressing Arizona’s excitement in hosting fans from across the globe for NBA All-Star 2027, underscoring the state’s dedication to sports and entertainment. Mayor Gallego extended appreciation for the chance to host this iconic event, emphasizing the economic benefits and worldwide visibility it will bring to Phoenix.

NBA All-Star events will commence on February 19 with the NBA Rising Stars game, followed by the State Farm All-Star Saturday Night on February 20, featuring the Kia Skills Challenge, STARRY 3-Point Challenge, and AT&T Slam Dunk contest. The weekend will culminate with the NBA All-Star Game on February 21.

In addition to on-court events, the NBA will host various activities for fans of all ages throughout Phoenix, including the NBA All-Star Practice presented by AT&T, the Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, and an NBA All-Star fan fest.

The league will also continue its commitment to social responsibility by organizing NBA Cares events during NBA All-Star 2027, collaborating with local and national nonprofit organizations to support community-based programs.

Notably, Phoenix will also host the WNBA All-Star festivities in 2024.
